About Us

Sarah Carpenter LMT, BCTMB

I have always been fascinated with how the body works. I remember my grandmother would rub my feet and  tell me all about the reflex points on them; insisting that I could heal myself of most ailments through proper nutrition and body work.

In 1997 I became a licensed massage therapist so I could help others discover the joy I found in natural healing. Since then, I have studied many types of natural therapies and am currently a doctoral candidate in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have used a variety of modalities in my Bodywork sessions to help clients find relief from stress and pain.

Today, I use the John F. Barnes approach to myofascial release and the principles of Traditional East Asian Medicine which treat the body as a whole instead of focusing on a symptom. My goal is to help clients address the root cause of a dysfunction, then move beyond the signs of pain so they can release trauma and begin to reach peace within themselves.
